In 2009, Kevin Christiansen and his wife, Debbie moved to Topeka, Kansas from Wisconsin where they had been working with a touring drama ministry. In
2011, Jeremy joined the team to lead worship. God is at work as we help motivate A Movement of God Stories

We really appreciate our small group leaders. They are the ones who help dive home the life application portion of what we study in teen group and bible study. Our small group leader are also responsible for mentoring and discipling the students in there groups through weekly contact outside planned church activities.

Our adult leadership team is comprised of 4 couples from various backgrounds, that help drive the vision and execution of Barnabas Student Ministries. We typically meet biweekly to discuss ministry as well as review leadership material together as a group of leaders. This team is involved in the "behind the scenes" as well as frontline youth ministry including leading small groups and participating in special events and outreaches. |

The Barnabas Student Ministries student leadership team is currently comprised of 7 high school students who exemplify BSM's core values. These student leaders must endure a rigourous application and interview process in order to be considered for the team. Once on the team, they are the voice of their peers. They bring forth ideas and concerns of the students in the group and are also responsible for planning and executing at least one outreach or special event each semester. SLinfo |
